Today we started a unit study called Birds. We did the general anatomy of birds. I had him draw a bird, then we labeled the parts. He had to figure out from sounding out the words how they were spelled. Then, he told me some parts that we didn’t write out *stuck to four letter words today*. On the back, I had him write his first and last name, the numeric date, and the written out date.
