Homeschool Control Journal

of sorts…

I have a 3 ring binder where I am daily writing his activities in categories, as well as 3 hole punching some of his work to include each day. So far, so good. I am happy to see that there are things we do formally and informally that fit into what would be considered a full curriculum. I don’t plan his lessons too much, I just know what he needs to deal with, and what we have done before …and go from there. Some days we just do all informal things like verbal lessons throughout the day. I try to make sure to write down those things, too.

It’s good to be able to hand his father a binder and say “look what he did today” instead of having to search through papers. There is also the advantage of knowing if I have to hand him over to a babysitter for a day or two, they can do exactly what I am doing now without interruption.
