I have the video game kid living in my house. I tell you, he is so in love with gaming that even in his play time he is referring back to the games. Yesterday he built two versions of the Kuppa castle from Mario Brothers. It was so elaborate! There were doors, bushes, windows. He even used a large green block to represent Luigi and and red one for Mario.
Not everything is about gaming, but it is a huge part of his existence. I don’t really mind because I limit how long he plays games every day. I also noticed that he can apply the lessons he has learned in real life to the game and vice versa.
