My buddy Deb pointed me in the direction of a news article talking about the Fisher Price recall that is going out right now.
The worldwide recall being announced Thursday involves 967,000 plastic preschool toys made by a Chinese vendor and sold in the United States between May and August.
Okay, this is really negligent. I really can’t understand why someone isn’t doing quality control on these things. Thankfully, I didn’t buy any toys for my son from Fisher Price at that time, but I feel for the parents who did.

I bet there will be more recalls soon. How many toys are made here in the US? Or for that matter what is made in the US any more? Our children will grow up thinking our country is not industrialized any longer.
