Bird watching

I bought my son a pair of binoculars for his birthday. I did it because he is so into seeing things up close and personal. I was inspired to teach him more about the birds outside, too. Where did it come from? Well a lot of it came from reading Twitterpated. That blog has some neat pictures of birds. I love the layout, too *wink, I should, I made it*. ANYWAY I have been thinking about taking my son to a national zoo so he can see even more birds up close. I would love for him to see an eagle.

Ang. talks about teaching our kids and that is exactly what I want to do. I miss having my grandmother’s bird book around. As children we would see a feathered friend and look it up in that big book of birds to identify it. That was hours of childhood fun! Flit on over and find out more on the birds Ang. has seen.
