Flash Cards

I love flash cards. They are so easy to use for learning. I have a bunch that I used as a child that I am now using with my son. On one side there are words that start with the letter on the other side of the card. When you flip the card you see the letter and a picture of something that starts with the letter. One of the words on the back also corresponds to the picture on the front. Nice, no? They were made way back in the early 80s when I wasn’t even walking yet. I find it interesting that my son can now use these same cards. Their information is just as relevant now as it was then. The words have not changed. Gotta love being able to recycle nostalgia in a useful way.
