Connections through recognition

Yesterday we went to deliver Christmas presents to our friends. As we were standing outside of the apartment, my son noticed the 3 numbers by the door. He said “Look! Five!” None of the numbers were the number five, but he knows they were numbers. The only number he recognizes on a regular basis is the number five. What a great connection :)

At dinner in the sushi restaurant last night he noticed that the wonton soup and the dip were two different colors of YELLOW! He kept saying “Yellow” and pointing to the soup and the dip.
